Core Concepts
Identities
Resolve cross-device and cross-channel user identities.
OneView uses a identity graph to connect user identifiers across devices and channels.
Unlike traditional analytics services, OneView stores information into two separate databases:
- Event Stream: to store the anonymous log of events
- Identity Graph: to store and link identifiers together, legally known as profiling
The technology behind OneView is unique in that it segregates identifiers and data very clearly. Because the identifiers are incrementally built into the Identity Graph only when consent is given, OneView can ensure that, concerning Online Identifiers, profiling performed only when data is available, that is, after the user has given consent.
